MAIN DOCUMENTS RELEASED PRIOR TO THE CONVENTION
Since the first Convention of Higher Education Institutions held in Salamanca over two years ago an enormous amount has been written and many discussion held about the Bologna Process and the European Higher Education Area. To enable participants to prepare for the Graz Convention EUA has prepared its own documents for discussion, and also made a selection of existing papers, publications and conference recommendations. They are divided in to following categories:
I. "Must read" documents
These three documents form the basis for the Graz discussions. The EUA Response to the Commission's Communication provides an overall framework for strengthening the role of the universities in Europe while the Trends III report (draft) paints a picture of progress made over the last two years, problems encountered and future challenges in the Bologna Process, from the perspective of Ministries of Education, national Rectors' Conferences, higher education leaders and students. Bearing these in mind EUA has prepared the 'Graz Reader' which includes introductory papers for the five thematic working groups as well other relevant documents and EUA policy statements.
